Speak softly, speak kindly. Give wisely, wipe the tear and assuage the sigh and groan. Do not simply throw money at the needy, give with respect and reverence; give with grace. Give also with humility. Try to live with others harmoniously. That is the true following of Dharma (Right Conduct).
Make your mind cling to God. Let it do all things for God and leave the result, success or failure to God. Let it leave the loss and profit, the elation or dejection to God. That is the secret of peace and contentment.
Duty without love is deplorable. Duty with love is desirable. Love without duty is divine.
